We will use our extensive knowledge of care homes across Leicestershire, in order to advise you on what to look out for when seeking the right residential care for you or your loved ones. We have a detailed understanding of what these care homes have to offer and are therefore able to match your needs to the homes most likely to fulfil them. We can do this by offering you 3 levels of support:

• Telephone assessment & guidance

You can have a free 20 minute general advice and sign-posting session from one of our advisors or receive a bespoke assessment of your situation. We will then source care options in your area to suit your individual needs with an emailed report  – cost £35*

• Face-to-face assessment

We will visit you in your own home to assess your requirements in detail and undertake a full exploration of residential and/or home care options with online resources. We will also help to complete forms related to your care needs, such as an application for Attendance Allowance (a non-means-tested benefit) – cost £75*

• Ongoing help & support

All of the above but with accompanied visits to the residential homes that you wish to consider and subsequent visits to you once you have entered the home to ensure you are happy in your choice – £75* face-to-face assessment, then £35* per hour thereafter.

If you are looking for care in your own home then we can also advise you on what is available and how to go about choosing the service that best suits your needs. We will also advise you on who to talk to about financing your care.

Distance can often separate you from your loved ones and it may not always be possible to visit them easily. If this is the case we can visit them for you either in residential settings, or in their own home and provide an objective report on their current situation. We can also liaise with other professionals and advocate in situations where communication is difficult or problems have arisen – £35 per visit (inc. VAT)

Whatever your interests, hobbies or lifestyle choices we can help you to continue to enjoy them. Whether it’s help buying the things that you need, or a recreational activity such as a trip to a nature reserve, park, or a concert, we will help you to get the most out of your day.

We also provide a visiting service so that you can share the things you are interested in with someone else. This includes having someone visit for a chat, to read with you or help you with things that you might want to do: such as learn to use the internet.

We can take you to appointments and support you during them: GP, hospital, dentist etc. We can also take notes and ask questions on your behalf if required – £35 per hour (inc. VAT)

We can provide help in the home such as cleaning, cooking, or tidying and maintaining your garden.
